Mobilizing the private sector in education for Pakistan

Education is the most important factor for development of the economy. Education can lead us to enlightenment. It allows every single human being to take his/her decision in life. Education helps in learning and understanding the things around us in a better way. It develops us into mature persons capable of planning and taking decisions for future. Education can help in reducing poverty and social injustice in our systems. It makes us responsible citizens. Education helps in understanding our history, culture and values in a better way. An educated person has the ability to change the world. Without education we are not better than animals.
It is the fundamental right of every citizen of our country has access to proper education. It is responsibility of the government to provide education to all citizens whether they are poor or rich. But unfortunately in Pakistan access to proper and effective education is only for rich. Because government institutions are not providing the quality education and poor cannot afford the effective private education because it is too expensive for them. As we know that more 70 percent of our population is deprived of good and quality education. Education does not mean that the person can write his/her name or can read few lines but unfortunately many of public institutions are teaching them the same lessons. The basic need for us is that we must find such formula which helps in providing good and effective education to all. We have to find such a way that where we can provide good education to a poor at cheaper rates. As we know that our public sector has failed completely and it is not providing us the proper education which can help nation to build its economy, its social system, its justice system etc. So how can we accomplish our goal?  And the answer of that question would be mobilizing the private sector in education.

By mobilizing the private sector in efficient way we can achieve this goal. If government makes such policies which suits private sector and provide grant to these institutions and as well as give tax relief and provide electricity, gas, oil at cheaper rates. But also maintain check and balances on them it will help in providing the quality education. All of these actions will help in reducing the high fees of private institutions which results in education of poor in more effective way which is very important in socio-economical growth of our country.
