CULTURE OF PAKISTAN:

Culture can be defined as “all the ways of life, beliefs, and values that are passed down from generation to generation”, it’s called a ‘way of living’ for an entire nation, and Pakistan has a very rich cultural background. Pakistani culture is one of the unique cultures of the world as lots of different cultures combines to formulate Pakistani culture.
Food has always been a big part of the Pakistani culture; media has played a big role in exploding food industry in Pakistan. Exclusive food channels are growing day by day which broadcast cooking shows throughout the day. Newspapers and magazines are filled with advertisements and recipes for food items. One might even get the impression that the Pakistanis live to eat, rather than eat to live
Pakistani music is represented by a wide variety of forms. It ranges from traditional styles to more modern forms that try to mix up traditional Pakistani music with western music,
The official and national sport of Pakistan is hockey, although squash and cricket are also very popular. During cricket world cup season all the people go crazy and support their team with high spirits.
Talking about the festivals in Pakistani culture. We celebrate Eid ul Azha, Eid ul Fiter, Eid milad Un Nabi, Independence day, Basant and many other festivals Kite flying competitions take place all over the city's rooftops during Basant. On August 14, the people of Pakistan rejoice the day as Pakistan gained its independence from Hindus and British after lots of struggle. There are many celebrations all over the country; Milaad un Nabi is another known religious festival which is been celebrated all over pakistan. The two Eids, Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha commemorate the passing of the month of fasting, Ramadan, and the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ishmael for God. During these days there are national holidays and many festivals and events take place to celebrate Eid.
In Pakistan, mostly women have to stay home and raise children. But this tradition and concept has been changed and their role has been widened and expanded now they are equally participating in the daily life routines and are equally working with men.
